What started out as a hobby while I attended college to become a social worker quickly became something more. I have always wanted to help people in some sort of way and soon realized my calling was to help people with a camera in hand. Every human has an amazing story to tell and that story deserves to be documented - YOU deserve to be documented. Whether you're saying "I do" or you're about to walk across a stage in your cap and gown, or you are sharing your magic with the world through your small business or maybe you just want to document this season of you just because you deserve it - I want to be a part of that.

A documentary style approach
I have never been a fan of stiff posing and going to that field to capture your stereotypical portraits. I want your photos to feel like you're watching a movie back about your life. To be taken back to these moments that feel like magic.
What does this look like?
Well for starters, I can only capture photos that truly feel like you by getting to know you. I want our time spent together to be intentional as hell. That means questionnaires and mood boards and actually planning your session to create a tailored experience for you.
Secondly, we will stray away from stiff posing and instead you can expect lots of prompts that will bring out your own personality during our session. My goal is to capture you as you are. Yes, I will be there to guide you and give you as much direction as you want/need but I won't try to tell a story that isn't yours - and this goes for both sessions and weddings.
While there are so many things that go into a documentary style approach, the bottom line is that it's all about capturing storytelling photos.
